Our overall class intention

Surrendering to our innate wildness, we craft our collective resistance and cultivate abundance.

Are you interested in deep magic and connecting with community? Step into sacred space with us as we deepen our relationships with the Pentacles through trance, movement, energy magic, artistic expression, word play and ritual. Using embodied ritual based experiences, we will connect to the Pentacles as magical tools and to our power as witches to change the worlds. Discover these Pentacles for the first time or revisit them as old friends. Come, join us for an in-depth 15 month study of three of the core Reclaiming classes: Elemental Pentacle (Elements of Magic), Iron Pentacle, and Pearl Pentacle. We will meet monthly, spending each month deepening our relationships to one of the points. The work will build on itself, enriching our understanding of ourselves, our world and our call to magic.

Elements

For the first five months, we will use the basic Reclaiming tools of magic as we explore the sacred Elements: Earth, Air, Fire, Water, and Spirit. Listen, what wisdom do we hear on the wind? How do we harness the fires of transformation in these times of great change? What healing can we find in the Waters of the World? Grounded, how do we serve the earth and what sustenance do we seek? What transformation is spiraling out of Center, and how does Spirit weave through all the questions of our lives?

Iron

We will move from the Elements into Iron Pentacle. Working with the energies: Sex, Pride, Self, Power, and Passion, this pentacle can be liberating and evolutionary, building our trust in our inner knowledge and allowing us to embrace our shadows with compassion. Beginning with our own primal life-force energy, moving outside of the mundane and beyond the binary, exploring gender, embodiment, identities, power dynamics, creativity and iron itself, we’ll invoke this pentacle using ritual, aspecting, trance, movement, music, storytelling, and energy moving, sensing, and shaping, honoring the ancestors and the descendants, we recognize our place in the evolutionary web and cycles of Life.

Pearl

Finally, we will work with the Pearl Pentacle. We engage the points: Love, Knowledge, Wisdom, Law, Liberation. These are charged words with layers of meanings. Through movement, meditation, trance, and ritual, we will collectively explore, deepen, and heal our connections with the points of the Pearl Pentacle. Using magic we will delve into the complexities of the Pearl Pentacle points and the myriad ways these powerful forces can be shaped and channeled in our growth, our actions, our relationships, and our communities.

Commit to start at the beginning

Given our intention of deepening into pentacle magic, we ask that people commit to starting with the elements portion even if you have taken Elements of Magic previously. This will allow us to deepen and spell our container and relationships as we move through the layered mysteries of these three pentacles.

Everyone is welcome. No prior knowledge or experience required.

• Iron Pentacle: April 1, May 20, June 3, July 8, August 12 (2017)
• Pearl Pentacle: Sept 9, October 14, November 11, December 9, January 13 (2018).
• Timing for each session is 1-5 p.m.

Cost

Sliding fee: $0-750 for the entire class (which breaks down to $0-$50 for each session and is self-determined). You can give your contribution distributed across each month or cycle, as preferred.
