Saturday, September 19 at 4 p.m.
We are celebrating the turning of the wheel with an Autumnal Equinox Ritual on Saturday, September 19, 2015, in Powderhorn Park in Minneapolis where 33rd Street meets 14th Avenue S. We will start gathering at 4 p.m. and begin ritual promptly at 4:30 p.m.
Our ritual will be a call to action supporting social justice, and we’ll be working with social justice-oriented boasts and oaths.
Our intention: When we nourish ourselves, we feed our community and help to heal the world.
We’ll be collecting food donations for The Exchange’s Queer Community Food Shelf. Please consider bringing non-perishable food items to donate. Money donations are also welcome to cover ritual expenses, but please note that no one will be turned away for lack of funds or food items.
All are welcome, including children and folks from other traditions. This is a sober event. We also invite you to refrain from the use of perfumes, lotions, and other scented product to ensure increased accessibility.
Please bring a chair if you need one and weather-appropriate clothing as we will be outdoors.
We look forward to seeing you!
