We gather to celebrate First Harvests aka Lughnasad or Lammas. Come join Upper Mississippi River Reclaiming for and all-ages celebration.
Saturday, August 5
Gather at 3:00 p.m. Ritual begins at 3:30 p.m.
Minnehaha Park S. on Minnehaha Drive, south of the creek and falls, across from the Minnehaha Depot. Map of the location in Minnehaha Park
Intention and what to expect
The intention for the ritual is from our We Are Statement: Empowering ourselves and each other, we cultivate co-creation.
We invoke a sense of play and collaboration as we move and sound together. All movement, even breathing, is movement. All sounds, even a heart beat, is a song. We will listen, witness, sing, and move together to create a tableau of the season. All ages and all bodies of movers and sounders are welcome.
What to bring
Please bring camp chairs or a blanket for your comfort. We will have a picnic after the ritual. If you are able to bring a dish to share, please do, but it isn’t necessary. Please bring your own reusable eating utensils.
Donations are welcome to cover costs.
Reclaiming ritual are drug and alcohol free.
All ages welcome.
