Fall Equinox Ritual

We gather to celebrate Fall and to honor sacred water in solidarity with the Standing Rock Water Warriors at Sacred Stone Camp in Cannonball, South Dakota. We also invoke blessings on the Upper Mississippi River Reclaiming community.

The intention for the ritual is: At the river’s edge we honor water and pray for the healing and protection of all rivers and water. We seek water’s wisdom and blessing for beauty and balance in our homes and communities.

September 24, 2016

Gather at 3:00 p.m. Ritual will start at 3:30 p.m.

Hidden Falls Park
1305 Mississippi River Blvd. S
St Paul, MN 55116

All are welcome including children, newcomers, and folks from other traditions. This is a sober event. We also invite you to refrain from the use of perfumes, lotions, and other scented product to ensure increased accessibility. There can be mosquitoes at this site. If using any type of bug spray, natural or chemical, we ask that you walk well away from the gathering to apply it.

Bring a small container of water from your home or other sacred place to add to the waters of the world spell. You will have the option to take some waters of the world home with you.

Bring a chair or blanket to sit on. In this ritual, there will be an option to take a short walk to the river’s edge or to remain in a tented area for prayer and divination work.

Donations: We welcome donations to the ongoing struggle at the Standing Stone Prayer Camp to stop the Dakota Access Pipeline and to protect all our water. #NoDAPL

We also welcome your donation of funds to sustain our ritual celebrations.
