Ritual schedule and planning dates for 2018

The Upper Mississippi River Reclaiming ritual planning cell has scheduled out the dates for this year’s rituals. Please mark your calendars so you won’t miss them.

Help us plan the rituals

We invite you to participate in ritual planning. Dates and locations are noted below each ritual.

Our community rituals are a place for seasoned priestesses to stay in touch with their craft and for new priestesses to learn and practice while safely held by community.

Your participation helps make our rituals sustainable.

Bridget/Imbolic

  • Ritual: Saturday, February 3, Gather at 3, ritual at 3:30 p.m. – Walker Community Church, 3104 16th Ave. S., Minneapolis, MN 55407

Spring Equinox

  • Spring Equinox Ritual: Sunday, March 25, Gather at 3 ritual at 3:30 p.m. – Tentatively: Walker Community Church, 3104 16th Ave. S., Minneapolis, MN 55407
  • Planning Spring Equinox Ritual: Sunday, February 11, 2-4 p.m. (Please contact the ritual cell umrr.rituals@gmail.com for location).

Beltane song circle

  • Ritual: Sunday, May 6, Drop by the labyrinth anytime after the May Day ceremony to continue to immerse yourself in the magic and song of Beltaine (5 -6:30 p.m.), Powderhorn Park, Minneapolis
  • No planning meeting as this is a very relaxed gathering/ritual.

Summer Solstice

Summer Collaborative Gathering & Ritual

  • Ritual: Saturday, August 11.
    While many of our seasonal rituals and gatherings are generally open to the public, this event is designed for us to strengthen our community bonds and heal as individuals and as a group. Our intention for this year of collaborative gatherings is: *Being together as we are, we heal and we nurture beloved community*We will gather together in community beginning at 11:00 and ending at 4pm.There will be a First Harvest ritual during the gathering, co-created that day.

  • Ritual: Saturday, December 22,  Gather at 6 ritual at 6:30 p.m. – Living Table United Church of Christ, 3805 40th St E, Minneapolis, Minnesota 55406
  • Planning Winter Solstice: Saturday, December,1-3 p.m. (Please contact the ritual cell umrr.rituals@gmail.com for location).

All are welcome including children and folks from other traditions.

Reclaiming events are drug and alcohol free.

Please do not use perfumes, lotions, and other scented products to ensure increased accessibility.

Money donations are welcome to cover ritual expenses, but please note that no one will be turned away for lack of funds.
